Ugis Ozolins

I started capturing this series in 2007 and still continue to work on it. I will probably continue to do so for as long as it remains interesting for myself. Focusing on a person’s relationship with the camera and the moment that he or she chooses to push the button and realising that this is the exact moment the person was most ready for the shot. I try to take part myself only as a director by choosing the location and setting up the camera, the rest is left to the person actually taking the portrait.
