Afuera no hay nada Creo en la fotografía como un modo de entender lo real. En este proyecto busco ofrecer un pensamiento sobre la infancia al mismo tiempo que su imagen. Desarrollo dos tipos de experimentos fotográficos que me ayudan a entender esa etapa de mi vida, relaciono recuerdos y sueños de años atrás con un nuevo recorrido por los lugares de la infancia, historia y ficción se confunden incesantemente y se reactivan una a otra. Dentro de las fotografías realizadas se encuentran un grupo de escenificaciones del alter ego infantil que explora los momentos de ensimismamiento, momento de acceso a lo imaginario, lugar donde nacen y mueren las imágenes. También realizo un grupo de intervenciones en el paisaje que me permiten construir una reflexión entre dos elementos contrarios: lo natural del paisaje y el artificio del acto. Intervenir los espacios es la forma de apropiarme del mundo y encontrar mi lugar en él, así estas imágenes exhiben una búsqueda para abolir cada vez más la brecha que existe entre lo real y la ficción. "Afuera no hay nada" es un juego de palabras sobre la relación del mundo sensible y el espacio de la imaginación, uso estos dos términos para fundirlos en imágenes que me hagan comprender lo real; sueños, recuerdos y el mundo sensible viviendo en una sola imagen que permite que la infancia sea representada.   · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·   There is nothing out there I believe in photography as a way to understand what is real. In this project I try to offer a thought and an image regarding the theme of childhood. I developed two types of photographic experiments that help me interpret this stage of my life: I relate memories to dreams I had many years ago using a new pathway that takes me to the places of my childhood, fiction and history are constantly merged together and are reactivated. Within the other photographs, the spectator will find a group of stagings representing children’s alter ego. It explores moments of self-absorption, a moment of access to the imaginary, a place where images are born and then die. I also intervene on the landscape creating a group of images that allow me to build a stream of thoughts on opposite elements: the natural landscape and the artificial act. I transform a natural space because I feel it is a way to make the world mine and a way encounter my personal place while living in it. In this sense these images exhibit a search for the abolition of that small hole between reality and fiction. “There is Nothing Out There”creates multiple meanings regarding the relationship between the sensitive world and the imaginary, I use these two terms in order to merge them in images that will allow me to understand reality, dreams, memories and the sensitive world living in an only image that allows me to represent childhood.
