Alexander Bondar Kupchino (Rusia)

These photos represent a selection from a long term ongoing project, they were created in a span of 4 years in one of so called 'sleeping districts' in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The project is called 'Kupchino' - like the place, where the photos were taken. In this project I tried to work with color and lines, and also with distance. The distance between me and the world, between staged and 'real' (reality that looks staged), maybe even between photography and painting.
